Respondent Prayer in both the petition:- These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records and to quash the FIR in Crime No.4/AC/2012/CCIII on the file of the respondent police.

For Petitioners : Mr. P.Anbarasan For Respondent : Mr.P.Govindarajan, Additional Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, praying to quash the First Information Report registered in Crime No.4/AC/ 2012/CCIII, pending on the file of the respondent.

It is averred in the petitions that the petitioners have been arrayed as accused Nos. 1 and 3 in Crime No. 4/AC/2012/CCIII registered under Section 120(b) of the Indian Penal Code and also under Sections 13(2) read with 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Further it is stated in the petitions that the petitioners are the innocent persons and they have no connection whatsoever with the alleged offences and they have been falsely implicated. Under the said circumstances, these petitions have been filed for getting the relief sought therein.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has contended that in a case registered in Crime No.4/AC/2012/CCIII, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

investigation has been done and Final Report has been filed and the same has been taken on file in Calendar Case No.21 of 2015.

4. Considering the nature of the relief sought in the petitions and also considering the fact that the Final Report filed in Crime No.4/AC/2012/CCIII has been taken on file in Calendar Case No.25 of 2015, the reliefs sought in both the petitions have become infructuous. Since the reliefs sought in both petitions have become infructuous, the same are liable to be dismissed.

In fine, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to file separate petition with regard to Calendar Case No.21 of 2015. Sd/- Asst.Registrar /true copy/ Sub Asst. Registrar mrp To
