Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the order passed by the respondent dated 07.09.2018 and quash the same and subsequently direct the respondent to grant permission for conduct the cultural dance program (Aadal & Padal program) at Korimedu Jallikadu, Salem District scheduled on 13.09.2018 on the eve of Maari Amman Kovil Temple nearby Vinayagar Temple festival Korimedu Jallikudu Temple Festival pursuant to the petitioner representation dated 07.09.2018.

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give permission to the cultural dance (Aadal & Padal Programme) at Korimedu Jallikadu, Salem District scheduled on 13.09.2018 on the eve of Maari Amman Kovil Temple nearby Vinayagar Temple festival Korimedu Jallikudu Temple Festival pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 07.09.2018.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in the village of Korimedu Jallikadu Temple, Village people used to celebrate Vinayagar Chathurthi every year and this year also, they have decided to celebrate the festival on 13.09.2018 and during the festival, some cultural dance (Aadal & Padal Programme) programme also has to be held and for that purpose, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondent on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
07.09.2018 seeking permission. But, so far, no order has been passed .
3. The learned public prosecutor has submitted that there is a possibility of communal clash problems and hence permission may not be granted.
4. Admittedly, so far no case has been registered against any of the persons with regard to the cultural programme in the said village and therefore, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same in accordance with law.
5. with the aforesaid submissions, this petition is disposed of . No costs.
