O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to give police protection to construct mandapam in front of Arulmigu Sivasubramaniyar Swamy Thirukoil, Thaiyur Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District - 604 2015 based on the petitioner's complaint dated 24.4.2019.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that Arulmigu Sivasubramaniyar Swamy Thirukoil, Thaiyur Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District was constructed by the petitioner's ancestors in the said village. The petitioner's family members want to construct Mandapam in front of the above said temple with the help of public in the said village. He https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

further submitted that, some miscreants may interfere in the construction of above said Mandapam, therefore petitioner seeks police protection to construct the Mandapam. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation through registered post to the respondents on 24.04.2019. But no action has been taken by the respondents till now. Hence the present petition has been filed by the petitioner.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is directed to give adequate police protection to the petitioner on the basis of the complaint dated 24.4.2019.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
