This Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents for the willful disobedience of the order passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.1380 of 2020 dated 24.01.2020 as per the provisions of the Contempt of Court Act.

ORDER

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent brought to the notice of this Court, the proceedings dated 11.02.2020 issued by the respondent. As per the proceedings, the respondent/Corporation is claiming for a sum of Rs.4,195/- from the petitioner with interest. On such settlement of the dues, the respondent/Corporation is prepared to settle the entire terminal benefits.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the amount due from the petitioner can be adjusted from the terminal benefits and the balance amount can be paid to the petitioner. 3.In view of the above development, there shall be a direction to the respondent to deduct the amount due and payable by the petitioner and pay

the balance terminal benefits to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
