ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus, seeking for release of a vehicle which was seized under the Essential Commodities Act on 07.04.2022.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the charge sheet has already been filed against the petitioner under the Essential Commodities Act and therefore, the petitioner will have to approach the concerned Magistrate Court, seeking permission for return of the seized vehicle. The said statement is recorded.

3. Since the charge sheet has already been filed, this Writ Petition stands disposed of, by granting permission to the petitioner to approach the concerned Criminal Court for return of the seized vehicle. No costs.
