O R D E R
Due to enmity between the family members, the petitioner herein been attacked by the 4th respondent on 12.03.2024 leading to the registration of an F.I.R in Cr.No.142 of 2024 for the alleged offence under Section 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of IPC. Subsequently, the accused is also threatened the sister's daughter of the petitioner which has led to other complaint in Cr.No.201 of 2024 dated 18.04.2024 for the offences under Section 294(b), 352, 354A, 354D, 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of Women Harassment Act. The petitioner herein before this Court seeking police protection stating that accused persons being the politically influenced persons, time and again threatening him and since the police did not register the complaint under proper Section i.e., 307 of IPC (attempt murder) who was embolden to threaten and harass women members of the petitioner's family.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) states that investigation in Cr.No.142 of 2024 reveals that the grave offence is punishable under Section 326 of IPC and therefore, the charge has been altered and final report been filed which has been taken on file by the Judicial Magistrate-II,Walajapet in C.C.No.38 of 2024. As far as the second complaint is concerned investigation is almost completed and final 2/4
report will be filed within a period of two months.
3. Regarding the apprehension of life threat alleged by the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) states that the investigation does not reveal any such threat to life, but any such incident comes to the notice of the petitioner , the police will provide necessary protection.
4. Recording the same, this Criminal Orginal Petition is disposed of.
