Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the District Collector of Kanchipuram and District, the Revenue Divisional Officer of Sriperumpudur, Sriperumpudur town and Taluk, Kanchipuram District, the Revenue Tahsildar of Kundrathur, Kundrathur Town and Taluk, Kanchipuram district and the village Administrative Officer, in No.133, Ezhichur Revenue Village & Post, Kundrathur Taluk, Kanchipuram District, the respondents 1 to 4 herein to issue patta to the petitioner's land in Survey No.469A/1C in No.133, Ezhichur Revenue Village & Post, situated at Kundrathur Taluk, Kanchipram District on the name of hte peteitioner herein, on the basis of the petitioner's last representation dated 29.06.2021 by the registered post. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner.
2. According to the petitioner, he is in possession and enjoyment of the land in Survey No.469 A/1C, in Ezhichur Revenue Village and Post, Kundrathur Taluk, Kanchipuram. He has made a representation on 29.06.2021 before the 3rd respondent seeking for patta and his application has not been considered so far. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has purchased the property in the year 2013 and thereafter, he has filed an application before the 3rd respondent seeking for patta and the same has not been considered so far.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, and also the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2021 is pending with the 3rd respondent, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, conduct enquiry and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any , within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of . No costs. Consequentially, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
