Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take action on our representation dated 24.01.2022, for removal of the encroachment made by the 4th respondent herein, who have constructed a compound wall and a car shed, across the Sir C V Raman Road, thereby preventing us from entering into our layout situated at Sri Devi Nagar, comprised in Survey No.13/1, in No.5, Vilinjiyambakkam Village, Avadi, Thiruvallur District.

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the writ petition with liberty to take appropriate alternative remedy as available to them to either challenge the patta or the construction raised by the private respondent. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.13711 and 13712 of 2022 are closed.
