ORDER

Ms.S.Vaitheeswari, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with requisite instructions to enable final disposal of this matter even at this stage. Thus, by consent expressed by both learned counsel, this writ petition is disposed even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner seeks a mandamus directing the respondents, being the Commissioner and the Revenue Officer of Greater Chennai Corporation/R1 & R2 to consider its representation dated 27.04.2022, afford an opportunity to it and dispose the same in accordance with law.

3. The petitioner is seen to have been making representations before the authorities since 2016 onwards on the same issue as agitated in representation dated 27.04.2022 being the levy of property tax on Flat bearing No.144, Mount Road, Saidapet, Chennai - 600 105, for more than six years, it would thus be in order that the respondent hear the petitioner and dispose the representation dated 27.04.2022 in accordance with law, expeditiously in any event within a period of four (4) weeks from today.

4. Mandamus is issued, as above and with this, this writ petition stands disposed. No costs.
