Heard Mr.S.Sounthar, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.K.S.Suresh, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2; Mr.V.Viswanathan, learned counsel for the third respondent; Ms.R.T.Shyamala, learned counsel for the respondents 5 to 7 and perused the materials available on record.

2. The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents 1 to 4 from laying a road in Survey No.183/1 in Agarathirumalam Village, Nannilam Vattam, Tiruvarur District.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner by producing the letter of the third respondent dated 15.02.2017 in Na.Ka.No.2790/2012/A2 would state that the third respondent has sent the letter stating that he has no proposal to lay a link road at Andakudi / Agarathirumalam. The letter is placed on record.
