Crl.M.P.No.5234 of 2020 and Crl.O.P.No.8874 of 2020 N.ANAND VENKATESH, J., This petition has been filed seeking for modification of the condition imposed by this Court by order dated 18.06.2020.

It is seen from the First Information Report that the quantity of sand involved is 1⁄2 unit and the petitioner has been directed to deposit a sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only). The learned counsel submitted that the amount directed to be deposited is not in proportion with the quantity of the sand involved in the present case. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent also submitted that the quantity of sand involved in this case is 1⁄2 unit.

In view of the above, the amount of deposit stipulated in para-6(b) of the order dated 18.06.2020 is modified as Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only). All the other conditions shall remain as it is. The petitioner is granted a week's time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to comply with the conditions. http://www.judis.nic.in
