The petitioner belongs to Adhi Adravidar Community. She married one Shanmugam, who belongs to Ahamudayar Community in the year 2012. As the marriage is intercaste one, the petitioner made an application claiming the benefits as per the Government Order governing the same. Despite the fact that an enquiry having been conducted, the request of the petitioner has not been considered. 2. Taking into consideration of the pendency of the request of the petitioner, a direction is issued to the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to submit a copy of her representation including the relevant documents to the respondents, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs. M.P.No.1 of 2015 is closed.
