O R D E R

(This case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 336, 427, 392, 397 and 506 (ii) IPC, in Crime No.919 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant is that the petitioner along with the other accused waylaid the defacto complainant, abused in filthy language and robbed an amount of Rs.50,000/- from the defacto complainant. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner along with the other accused waylaid and robbed Rs.50,000/- from the defacto complainant. He would further submit https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that as far as the petitioner is concerned, there are five previous cases pending against the petitioner registered in Crime Nos.473 of 2016, 195 of 2019, 205 of 2017, 105 of 2018 and 108 of 2018. Therefore, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and submissions of the learned Counsel and the fact that there are five previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
