Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.04.2021 for rectification of erroneous classification of the lands mearing to an extent of 0.49.0 hectares in surveyy No.221 and 1.04.0 hectares in Survey No.222/1 in Alur Village , Hosur, Krishnagiri District in the revenue records based on the UDR patta dated 26.04.1985 issued to the petitioner and to issue computerized patta to the petitioner.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's

representation dated 08.04.2021.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner is the owner of the property in Survey No.222/1 in Alur Village, Hosur, Krishnagiri District. During the UDR Scheme, the land was wrongly classified as "Änadheenam". Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent to rectify the mistake on 08.04.2021 . But, so far no order has been passed on the same. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, and also the fact that the petitioner's representation, dated 08.04.2021 is pending with the first respondent, without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.04.2021 and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
