ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct a proper inspection of the drainage alignment and sewage construction in the common pathway between Door No.263/2 and Door No.263, Konnur High Road, Ayanavaram, Chennai-600 023 and take proper action against the fourth respondent in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, on account of illegal sewage chambers in the property of the fourth respondent and on account of the improper sewage discharge from his property, the petitioner is suffering. The petitioner had given a representation on 25.02.2026 to the respondents 1 and 2 to take action against the fourth respondent. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Ms.Vasanthamala, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for the first respondent. Ms.K.Aswini Devi, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for the second respondent.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered on merits and in accordance with

law after hearing the objections of the respondents 3 and 4 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2026 requesting the first respondent to take action in respect of the complaint given by the petitioner against the fourth respondent for constructing an illegal sewage chambers in his property and for improper sewage discharge from his property, after hearing the objections of the respondents 3 and 4 and any other third party whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
