The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions, would contend that the trial had commenced in C.C.No.25 of 2012 on the file of the Special Court for Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors Act at Coimbatore, and so far, 549 witnesses have been examined on the side of the prosecution.
