ORDER

(Hearing was made through Hybrid Mode) S.VAIDYANATHAN, J., and A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.,` This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed seeking direction to direct the second respondent herein to produce the son of the petitioner namely G.Guru Sakthi, S/o. 2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the said G.Guru Sakthi is a habitual offender against whom there are 19 previous cases pending before various Districts throughout Tamil Nadu. He would further submit that the said G.Guru Sakthi is an accused in Crime No.576 of 2021, registered by Koradacheri Police, Tiruvarur District and he has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody before the Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvarur and he would submit that the petitioner is not in illegal custody. He would further submit that arrest intimation has been given to the uncle of the alleged detenu.

3. In view of the above, since the detenu is not in illegal custody, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. However, if there had been any illegal detention, the petitioner is at liberty to proceed in accordance with law.
