..Respondent(s) PRAYER - Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to conduct survey of the properties comprised in Survey No.421/2A1 measuring an extent of 0.19.43 Hectares and Survey No.421/2C measuring an extent of 0.1.96 Hectares situated at Dindal Village, Karimangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri District with the aid of the 3rd respondent.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, based on his online application, dated 11.03.2026, with the assistance of the 3rd respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had submitted an application through on-line on 11.03.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered by the official respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent.

No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom they deem fit to put on notice, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the

respondents 1 and 2 are directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice.

(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents 1 and 2 shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(c) If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the respondents 1 and 2, the 3rd respondent shall render police assistance for the effective implementation of this order.

(d) There shall be no order as to costs.
