ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's NIL dated representation dispatched to the respondents 2 & 3 on 06.08.2025 and to cancel the Legal Heirship Certificate No. TN202302272631 dated 14.03.2023, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. With the consent of both sides, the present Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself.

It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the wife of the deceased Shabbir A.H., who died on 27.04.2021 leaving behind the petitioner and their two daughters alone as his legal heirs. After his demise, the petitioner obtained the legal heir certificate on 03.01.2022. When the petitioner tried to transfer name in the patta of their property, she came to know that one S.Mohamad Abzal had obtained another legal heir certificate on 14.03.2023 fraudulently wherein, the petitioner and the parents of the deceased were shown as pre-deceased and also alienated the property to third parties. In regard to the
same, the petitioner made an application and first appeal under the Right to Information Act and also lodged a complaint before the concerned police, however no response. Aggrieved by the same, she made a representation to cancel the legal heir certificate dated 14.03.2023 issued to S.Mohamad Abzal to the respondents 2 and 3 which was also received by them on 06.08.2025, but there was inaction on the part of the respondents and hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice to issue a direction to the third respondent to consider and dispose of the nil dated representation of the petitioner addressed to him on 06.08.2025, within a reasonable time.
5. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation received by him on 06.08.2025 and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to S.Mohamad Abzal as well as any other aggrieved parties to the subject issue, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
