By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2 The petitioner claims to be a resident of Kasinayaganpatti Village, Thirupatthur Taluk, Vellore District. He submitted a representation to the respondent on 25.05.2016 seeking permission to conduct the cultural programme which includes song and dance programme in connection with the temple festival of "Shri Mariamman Temple"
situate at Keel Street, Kasinayaganpatti village and Post, Tirupathur Taluk, Vellore District and since, he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition. 3 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and who would submit that since the petitioner has approached this Court at the very last minute, orders cannot be passed on the representation/application https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
submitted by him and that too, no acknowledgment has been produced for having submitted such representation/application. 4 This Court considered the rival submissions. 5 As rightly contended by the learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner has approached this Court at the very last moment and therefore, this Court is not in a position to pass any positive orders in respect of the function to be held today. However, taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances, this Court permits the petitioner to submit one more representation/application to the respondent to conduct the cultural programme in connection with the temple festival to be held on future date and the respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider the said representation / application in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of such representation/application and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
