The present petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 07.08.2015.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Govindaraj, Kottimuthu and Nallathambi stating that they have collected a sum of Rs.3,15,000/- under the guise of getting transfer from Erode District to Coimbatore District and after getting the money, the said persons cheated him. Since the same was not received by the respondent police, the petitioner came forward to file this petition.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has sent the complaint to the Chief Minister Cell and as on date, no complaint is pending with the respondent police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Since no complaint is pending with the respondent police as on date, no direction can be issued to the respondent. Hence, the criminal original petition is dismissed.
