Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner / Insurance Company.

There shall be an order of interim stay for a period of twelve (12) weeks on condition that the appellant shall deposit the 50% of the award amount with proportionate interest to the credit of M.C.O.P.No.7 of 2023 on the file of Special Sub Court (to deal with MCOP cases), Tiruvallur, within a period of four [4] weeks from today. Failing which, the interim stay granted by this Court shall stand automatically vacated without any further reference to this Court.

4. Issue notice to the respondents no.1 and 2, returnable within four weeks.
