O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case against the complaint dated 17.09.2015.

2. It is stated that the petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Neela and others on the allegation of being threatened. The said complaint was given on 17.09.2015 before the respondent police but till date no action was taken. Hence, the present petition.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the said Neela also lodged a complaint against the petitioner and the both the complaints are enquired into and since the parties have entered into compromise, both the complaints are closed. He also produced a closure report of both the complaints.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that since already the complaint was enquired into and the same was closed, this Court cannot give any direction to the respondent police. Hence, the criminal original petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. if he so desires. Learned Additional Pubic Prosecutor is directed to hand over a copy of the closure report to the counsel for the petitioner.
