Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondent and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2015.

3. The limited prayer sought for by the petitioner is to the extent that the representation for effecting necessary name change in the property tax assessment be considered.

Hence, this Court, without going into the merits of matter, considering the limited relief sought for, hereby directs the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 09.07.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
