Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to act on the petitioner's representation dated 11.02.2013 that was forwarded by the District Collector vide ref.No.AA/13/07379 to the Tahsildar, Alandur(third respondent) vide letter ref.NK.4883/2013F1 dated 15.02.2013 for appropriate action within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondents, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.Alleging that the petitioner said to have purchased the property in the year 1988 seeking issuance of patta, the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent on 11.02.2013 and the said authority has forwarded the same to the third respondent in and by order dated 15.02.2013, no orders have been passed. Despite the same followed by a legal notice dated 14.01.2014, no order has been passed on the said representation, the present writ petition has been filed.
3.Considering the above position, without going into the merits of the case, it is open to the third respondent to conduct an enquiry on the representation of the petitioner or any other third party if so required and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish the copy of the representation dated 11.02.2013 along with this order within a period of two weeks. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
