Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to consider the petitioners representation dated 9.7.2015 and further direct the 3rd respondent to give priority to him while appointing the employees for the post of sweeper based upon his caste and his inter caste marriage. 2. The petitioner claims that he belongs to Scheduled Caste community and studied up to 5th standard and knows to read, write and speak Tamil fluently. Petitioner would submit that he has contracted an intercaste marriage and out of wedlock, he begot one son and one daughter. He is repeatedly submitting representations seeking appointment as a Sweeper in the services of third https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent/Municipality and submits that he belongs to scheduled caste community and also he is entitled to get employment under intercaste marriage category also. Since no response is forthcoming, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.I.Arokiasamy, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3.

4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2015, in accordance with law and pass orders thereon within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
