O R D E R

The wife is before this Court seeking transfer of H.M.O.P. No. 16 of 2015, filed by the respondent/husband for divorce, from the file of Sub Court, Arakkonam to the file of Family Court, Salem. 2.

According to the petitioner, she is residing with her parents in Salem. As her parents are aged, they are unable to accompany her for the hearing at Arakkonam and she is finding it difficult and inconvenient to travel alone from Salem to Arakkonam. 3.

Though the respondent has been served and his name is also printed in the cause list, there is no representation on his behalf, either in person or through counsel. Therefore, this Court proceeds to pass orders on merits.

Since the petitioner is living with her parents in Salem, it is impossible for her, as a lady, to travel around 250Kms from Salem to Arakkonam to attend the hearing at Sub Court, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Arakkonam. In view of that, the transfer C.M.P. Is ordered as prayed for and H.M.O.P. No. 16 of 2015, pending on the file of Sub Court, Arakkonam, is withdrawn and transferred to the file of Family Court, Salem. No costs. Connected M.P. is closed.
