Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the encroachments and encroachers from the public roads namely Devaraja Mudali Street and Venkatachala Mudali Street at Park Town, Chennai - 600 003 within the time frame to be fixed by the Hon'ble Court.

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.S.Anil Sandeep, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Arun Babu, learned counsel for the respondents.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the encroachment has been removed. Learned counsel for the petitioner also accepts the same.

3. The Corporation shall ensure that no encroachment takes place and in deserving case, shall make use of the CCTV cameras installed by the City Police.

4. In the light of that, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
