[Respondents] Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to grant an order of permission to the petitioner to do blasting work for six months to break the rocks existing in S.F.No.32/4 in Nilavarapatti Village Salem District to convert the said land as agricultural plain land by considering the representation of the petitioner herein dated 03.08.2015.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.N.Rajagopalan, learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.
2.The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to do blasting work for six months to break the rocks existing in S.F.No.32/4 in Nilavarapatti Village, Salem District, to convert the said land as agricultural plain land, by considering the representation dated 03.08.2015.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner seeks permission to do blasting work for a period of six months to break the rocks existing in S.F.No.32/4 in Nilavarapatti Village, Salem District, to convert the said land as agricultural https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
plain land. To that extent, he made a representation dated 03.08.2015. Till date no orders has been passed. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. Since the petitioner's representation dated 03.08.2015 is pending consideration before the 1st respondent, this Court is of the view that it would suffice if a direction is given to the 1st respondent to dispose of the said representation within a stipulated time.
5. In view of the above, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.08.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity to the petitioner.
The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
