If further time is granted by this Court for filing counter, the object of Arbitration viz., speedy disposal of disputes will get defeated. This application has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, seeking extension of time for the arbitrator to pronounce the arbitral award by further period of six months. This is the first application filed by the applicant under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

2. This Court is also satisfied with the reasons contained in the affidavit filed in support of this application as sufficient cause has been shown by the applicant for seeking extension.
