This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action to demolish the unauthorized construction made by the 3rd respondent in the premises at No.26/29 Alagiri Nagar Main Road, Vadapalani, Chennai-600 026, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2016.

2. Today, when the matter came up, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the Corporation has already initiated action against the third respondent for his alleged violation, nothing survives in the writ petition and the same may be dismissed as infructuous.

3. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected WMP is closed.
