This writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2024 by all the respondents especially the 1st respondent.
2. The petitioner is an Association. It is representing a common cause. According to the petitioner Association in respect of the post of Lab Assistants who are working in Government Colleges the pay scale has not been correctly fixed.
3. Though this matter came up for admission, Mr.R.Kumaravel, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents would bring to the notice of this Court that already some of the Lab Assistants have approached this Court by way of W.P.No.18416 of 2018 and by order dated 15.02.2024, this Court had directed the respondents to examine the
representation dated 07.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders and further directions were also given. He further submitted that the representation of the petitioner Association dated 03.04.2024 will also be considered since a similar petition is already pending consideration by the authorities.
4. In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of on the following terms:- (i) The respondents shall consider the representation of the petitioner Association dated 03.04.2024 while complying the direction of this Court in W.P.No.18416 of 2018 and pass speaking orders thereon, in any event within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
