Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.08.2017, and consequently issue a New 3 HP Electricity connection to the petitioner's open well situated in Survey No.361/2 at Thonnakuttahalli Village, Pennagaram (TK), Dharmapuri (DT) to the petitioner herein with in a period fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

Mr.Varunkumar, learned standing counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider her representation dated 31.08.2017 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

wherein and whereby she made a reminder to consider her application filed earlier for extending the electricity service connection to her land situated at S.No.361/2 at Thonnakuttahalli Village, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District.

3. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide the same. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
