ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents-Police to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 31.07.2015 and file final report in accordance with law. 2.In the affidavit filed in support of this petition, it has been stated by the petitioner that the petitioner and one Dinesh Kumar were working in a private shoe factory at pallikonda and they fell in love with each other. The said Dinesh Kumar, by enticing the petitioner, had physical relationship with the petitioner on several times, promising to marry her. When it came to the knowledge of their parents, though they did not accept initially, later they arranged for betrothal for them on 15.02.105 in the presence of elders of both sides. Soon after the engagement, the said Dinesh Kumar demanded Rs.
85,000/- and five sovereigns of gold as dowry and the same were also given to him. But, after receipt of the such amount and articles, the said Dinesh Kumar fallen in love with another girl and refused to marry the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.
the 2nd respondent-police on 31.07.2015. Since no action was taken on the petitioner's complaint, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition before this Court. 3.Heard both sides. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on an earlier occasion, the petitioner lodged a complaint with similar set of allegations, with a request to get back the money and articles said to have been give to the said Dinesh Kumar. On the petitioner's complaint, the 2nd respondent-Police conducted an enquiry and subsequently, the amount and articles were returned back to the petitioner from the said Dinesh Kumar. Thereafter, the said complaint was closed by the 2nd respondent-Police. Now, the present complaint has been filed by the petitioner with same set of allegations.
Thus, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed to given any direction to the respondents. 4.Considering the fact that on an earlier occasion, the complaint lodged by the petitioner on the same set of allegations was closed by the respondent-Police, this Court cannot give any direction as sought for by the petitioner in the present petition.
