Criminal Original petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent Police not to harass the petitioners under guise of enquiry on the false complaint lodged by the defacto complainant namely Vinothkumar. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police not to harass the petitioners under guise of enquiry on the false complaint lodged by the defacto complainant namely Vinothkumar.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of the dispute involved in this case is a money dispute, it is for the parties to adjudicate the same before the appropriate Civil Court and the respondent police will have no role to play in a case of this nature.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police not to interfere with the money dispute and it is open for the parties to agitate their rights before the competent civil court.
