ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Mr.C.Jagadish, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 4.

2. This writ petition, in public interest, has been filed seeking a direction on Respondent Nos.2 and 4 to remove the encroachment at Survey No.69, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, K.Nellikuppam Road, Kurinjipadi, Cuddalore, and lay a road.

3. According to the petitioner, Respondent Nos.3 to 5 are laying roads without taking steps to remove the encroachment on the road in question.

4. We direct the fourth respondent/Tahsildar to cause an inspection of the road in question within a fortnight from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any encroachment is found, respondent authorities shall take action in accordance with law, after giving notice to all concerned and remove the encroachments. The entire proceedings shall be completed at the earliest, preferably within two months from the date of inspection.

The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.27856 of 2017 is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar sasi To:
