Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondent, the Inspector of Police, Race Course Police Station, Coimbatore to register the First Information Report regarding the petitioner complaint dated 25.08.2018 and also to complete the investigation and file a final report accordingly within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court before the concerned Court. O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case, based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 25.08.2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in the year 2016, two cheques were missing and subsequently he came to know that the said cheques were filled up by one Vijayakumar and presented in the bank and they were returned as payments stopped. He further submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint with regard to the aforesaid offences before the respondent on 25.08.2018, but, so far no action has been taken.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that so far no complaint has been received by the respondent and hence no action can be taken.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. It is open to the petitioner to give a complaint before the respondent and based on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

said complaint, if no action is taken then, he can approach this Court.
