Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the private passage admeasuring to an extent of 290 sq.ft. (5 Ft x 58 Ft) (as per document) and 425 sq.ft actually available on ground situated at the R.S.No.450/5, Old Door No.35, New Door No.40, Kumaraswamy Mudali Street (Rear Portion), Extension of Paddy Field Road, Perambur Chennai - 11 by consider the petitioner's application dated 31.07.2025 and representation dated 24.03.2026 and grant such other relief which the Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's online application, dated 31.07.2025 and representation, dated 24.03.2026.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of patta in her name. He had submitted an application through online on 31.07.2025 and has also given a representation to the respondents on 24.03.2026 for the said purpose. Since the same were not considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's application and representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other party, whom the 4th respondent

deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's application and representation.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 4th respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's application dated 31.07.2025 and representation dated 24.03.2026 seeking issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other party, whom the 4th respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve
