.. Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to accept the application forms along with examination fees with regard to the petitioner and permit the petitioner to write the October, 2014.

By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.Heard Mr.A.Sundaravadhanan, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for first respondent.

3.The petitioner seek for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to accept his application forms along with examination fees and permit him to write the arrears examination in all the subjects in which he has failed, in October, 2014. 4.According to the petitioner, in respect of each semester there were arrears in certain subjects and in respect of 6th semester, the petitioner has to appear for all the subjects. It is stated that the second respondent College prevented the petitioner from attending the classes. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent and the first respondent by proceedings dated 24.03.2014, directed the second respondent Institution to permit the petitioner to continue the course in the same Institution and accordingly, the petitioner continued the course. Now, the petitioner seeks for permission to write the arrears examination in all the subjects where he has failed.

5.In the light of the above facts, there will be a direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to appears for the arrears examination in all the subjects in which he has failed, by remitting the necessary examination fees, which shall be collected from the petitioner and Hall-Ticket shall be issued to the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is disposed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. Sd/- Asst.Registrar /true copy/ Sub Asst. Registrar rpa
