Petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to produce the detenu P. Srivatsan aged about 30 years from the illegal custody of the 4th respondent before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

(Order of the Court was made by N. KIRUBAKARAN,J.) The matter is heard through videoconferencing. 2.
The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner/wife stating that her husband P.Srivatsan has been kept in illegal custody by his mother, i.e, the 4th respondent.

When the matter was called on the earlier occasion and heard through videoconferencing, we requested both the counsel to mediate between the parties and amicably settle the matter. However, when the matter is called today, both the counsel would represent that the petitioner's husband is not interested to live with the petitioner. The husband would state that he married the petitioner due to compulsion from his father. Since the husband of the petitoner expressed his disinclination to live with the petitioner and he, being a major, it is open to the parties to work out their remedies before the appropriate forum for appropriate relief. As it is evident that the husband of the petitioner is not in illegal custody, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar To 1.
