Education Department and the learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the Teachers Recruitment Board submitted that as against the order passed in W.P.No.26205 of 2024, which is complained in Cont.P.No.1284 of 2025, W.A.No.2521 of 2024 was filed and it came up for hearing before the Division Bench yesterday (13.08.2025) and after hearing both sides, the Division Bench directed not to proceed with the contempt proceedings till the writ appeal is finally heard with a further direction to post the matter on 20.08.2025. As against the order passed in W.P.No.15518 of 2024, which is complained in Cont.P.No.1244 of 2025,W.A.No.1786 of 2025 was filed by the Teachers Recruitment Board and the writ appeal was entertained and an interim order was passed by the Division Bench on 18.06.2025.
2. The other contempt petition in Cont.P.No.1285 of 2025 arises out of the order passed in the review application No.175 of 2024 in W.P.No.26205 of 2024. This contempt petition is also connected with the above two cases, where the order passed in the writ petitions is the subject matter before the Division Bench.
3. In view of the above, all these contempt petitions are closed subject to the final result in the pending writ appeals. It is left open to the petitioners to revive the contempt petitions, if necessary. Index : yes/no 14.08.2025 ss To
