ORDER
(Order of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J) This Writ Petition, styled as Public Interest Litigation (PIL) is actually a publicity oriented litigation. The Writ Petition relates to the complaint lodged by the 35th respondent. The petitioner is seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to entrust the investigation regarding the FIR in Crime No.171 of 2018 dated 20.04.2018 on the file of the 4th respondent to appropriate agency for conducting a free and fair investigation.
2. Mr. P.S.Siva Shanmuga Sundaram, Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1, 3 and 4.
3. Admittedly, the petitioner is not the complainant. The Complainant, viz. the 35th respondent, who is aggrieved by the action, has not approached this Court seeking any relief. We do
not see any Public Interest in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
