This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to para 2 of the impugned guidelines of the first respondent in proceedings No.CBCS/Col.M.Phil.,/Admn.
Guidelines/20182019/2018-095 dt.18/06/2018 quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent herein to give admission to the petitioner in the M.Phil. course as the petitioner having required marks in History department by implementing the UGC regulation Notification dated 5th May 2016 [No.28, part-IIISection 4] Page No.2 in Regulation 2 and the page no 59 of UGC Regulation Gazette Publication dated 18th July 2018 and also by considering the petitioner representation dated 14.08.2018 and 23.08.2018.

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to call for the records relating to para 2 of the impugned guidelines of the first respondent in proceedings No.CBCS/Col.M.Phil.,/Admn.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous since the Academic Year 20182019 was expired.
3. In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication and therefore, the same is dismissed as infructuous by this Court. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
