Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Declaration declaring that Section 3 of Act 33 of 2007 does not deprive the rights of the BCC and BCM candidates from being considered for the PG seats in Tamil Nadu Government Medical Colleges in the State of Tamil Nadu in the 30% quota reserved for Backward classes before being considered for the 3.5% quota of PG seats exclusively reserved for the BCC & BCM candidates under Section 3 of Act 33 of 2007 and consequently direct the 1st respondent to select the petitioner for the PG course opted by the petitioner under the BC quota reserved for the PG seats opted by him based on merit for the academic year 2008-2009 without applying G.O.Ms.No.241 dated 29.10.2007 of P & AR (K) Department of Government of Tamil Nadu in so far as the petitioner is concerned. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
