The writ petitions have been filed challenging the water tax demand notice.
2. Admittedly, an appeal could be filed before the Property Tax Appellate Tribunal attached to Chennai Corporation against the demand levied, it is open to the petitioners' to move the Appellate Tribunal.
3.Hence, these writ petitions are dismissed. The petitioners are granted four weeks time to file an appeal. If such an appeal is filed, the Tribunal will entertain the appeal dehorse the question of limitation. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
