Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the "C" Form renewal application dated 10.06.2016 by providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within the time prescribed by this Hon'ble Court.

Mr.P.Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on the C Form renewal application dated 10.06.2016.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said application has not been considered so far, even though the same was made as early as in the month of June 2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner for renewal of C form, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same on it own merits and in accordance with law. However, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondent to consider the said application of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
