O R D E R

The petitioner herein being the Trustee of Children's Academy Nursery and Primary School, Chennai has approached this Court seeking Mandamus for a direction to the respondents to consider her application dated 22.05.2017 for renewal of recognition to her school and pass orders.

2. After notice, the learned Government Advocate representing for the Education Department brought to the notice of this Court that the representation of the petitioner was considered and orders were passed long back. Thereafter, again on 26.02.2019, he has been informed about the violation of recognition rules committed by the petitioner and closure order issued pointing out that the petitioner is running the institute without due recognition since 19.12.2006. This was brought to the notice of this Court in previous hearing and this Court called for dispatch register to ascertain whether the order of closure served on the petitioner, because the petitioner counsel prayed ignorance about that order.

3. Today, the learned Government Advocate produced the dispatch register, wherein, the closure order dated 20.06.2019 was dispatched through Registered Post with Acknowledgment Due on 24.06.2019.

4. In the light of the above facts, nothing survives in this writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
