This petition has been filed for a direction directing the third respondent to provide police protection for surveying and fencing the property ie., Plot No.1, measuring 2204 sft., comprised in old Survey No.164/17-B, New Survey No.165/90, Vettuvankeni Village, Pandiyan Nagar, Sholinganallur Taluk. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.It is seen from communication dated 06.07.2018, that the Tahsildar has requested the police to give police protection vide old Survey No.164/17-B, New Survey No.165/90, Pandian Nagar Layout, Injambakkam Village, Sholinganallur Village, Kancheepuram District.

3.Considering the above request made by the petitioner sought for police protection to survey the land and taking note of the request made by the Tahsildar, Sholinganallur, on receipt of the complaint, the third respondent issued C.S.R.No.117 of 2020. When the third respondent proposed to conduct enquiry, the petitioner did not appear before the third respondent. However, if the Revenue Authority requested the third respondent to provide adequate police protection to survey the land belonging to the petitioner. The third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the request made by the Revenue Authority, after issuing notice to the counter parties and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
