Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue patta in respect of the lands situated in S.No.48/6 to the extent of 36 cents and S.No.48/6 to the extent of 70 cents in S.No.48/7 to the extent of 32 cents and S.No.48/10 to the extent of 28 cents and in S.No.50/15 to the extent of 46 cents and S.No.73/7 to the extent of 23 cents and in S.No.73/8 to the extent of 43 cents by total extent of land 2.77 1⁄2 acres and well and shed situated in S.No.50/15 (half share) including the electricity service connection No.200 along with 5 HP Motor situated at Kunnathur Village, Arni Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District to the petitioner's name by transferring the patta from the petitioner's father's name.

By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation dated 26.08.2017 to issue patta in favour of the petitioner.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

26.08.2017, to the second respondent, claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said representation is yet to be disposed of by the second respondent. However, the learned counsel submitted that it would suffice, if the representation dated 26.08.2017 made by the petitioner is directed to be considered by the second respondent, on merits. 4.Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law.

5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
