..Respondents in W.P.1207/2020 Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records leading to the issuance of the original impugned High Tension Bills (Provisional) issued by the 2nd respondent for the month of April 2020 (Bill 9094000365052001 dated 02.05.2020) May 2020 (Bill 9094000365062001 dated 01.06.2020) June 2020 (Bill 9094000365072001 dated 01.07.2020) and for the month of July (Bill 9094000365082001 dated 04.08.2020) pertaining to Service No.099094000365 in voilation Regulation 6

(b) of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Supply Code 2004 and quash the same and direct the respondents to raise the monthly Bill calculating the Minimum Charges at the rate of 20 percentage of the contracted demand or recorded demand whichever is higher as per Regulation 6(b) of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Supply Code, 2004 till the extended period of Lock Down, by the Government of Tamil Nadu and not to levy Power Factor penalty till the lock down is lifted and operation of entertainment park commences in so far as the petitioner is concerned.

The issue that has been raised in the present writ petitions is covered by the orders passed by this Court in the batch of Writ Petitions in W.P. Nos.7678, 7679 & 9141/2020 etc., dated 14.08.2020. Consequently, the directions given by this Court in the aforesaid batch of writ petitions will equally apply to the present writ petitions also.
